Can we have the whole sentence ? we need to review the context of the phrase in order to interpret better

Actually, it was inserted in an idiotic disclaimer sent by opposing counsel's legals team.  They claim it was a common term, so I thought I field it out to the various forums to see how many people would know this common term.  Obviously, it is not a common term and so I removed the verbiage and re-drafted a new contract without it.  Thanks for the input.
