Okay then..  so those items are mainly "đồ ăn vật" and they are usually for the people who don't need to cook for a family regularly.  You will certainly cook more in the future, for your kid and a family dinner.

How are you so sure they are "đồ ăn vặt"? Based on what theory? Just because I don't have rice in every photos, does not mean that it is a "đồ ăn vặt" like you said

Actually..  you are right.  I shouldn't have guessed anything.  It was just for the fun of guessing something, like from the cooking.  I probably wouldn't even bother to guess it if I have to spend a lot of time from observation in order to guess something.  All right, so I was wrong with my guess based on whatever aspects you said.

But one thing to be clear, a bowl of rice isn't a regular item at the dinner nowadays, but a cake is more of a snack or dessert, the same with "trương vịt lộn" or stuffed avocados, not a family meal as I would call it, that's all.

I respect your point of view. Stuffed avocado may not be your choice of a family meal, but it doesn't mean it can't be someone else's. People aren't sheep and expected to follow the norms, just because society dictates so!
