Revelation 19:16

16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:

king of kings and lord of lords.

Deuteronomy 10:17

17 For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes.

Psalm 136:3

3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords:

His love endures forever.


Daniel 2:47 

47 The king said to Daniel, “Surely your God is the God of gods and the Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, for you were able to reveal this mystery.”


1 Timothy 6:15 

15 which God will bring about in his own time—God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords,

Revelation 1:5

Bởi vậy đây là điểm khác nhau giữa CG và TL.  Công Giáo thì theo lời Chúa Giê Su dạy, lấy ý và thực hành, sống đạo là chính, còn Kinh Thánh chỉ là reference.

Tin Lành thì học Kinh Thánh theo mặt chữ, chỉ hiểu nghĩa đen, hiểu ngoài da, mà không chịu vào sâu, cho rằng sách luật không có nghĩa sâu, chữ nói sao hiểu vậy.

Nên Công Giáo tin Thiên Chúa là Cha trên trời, Chúa Giê Su là anh cả và là thầy, theo kinh Lạy Cha.


Tin Lành tin Chúa và Chúa Giê Su đều là vua hết, tuyệt đối theo Kinh Thánh, vì cho đó là sách luật nên theo sát nghĩa. Làm lơ điều CG nói về sự liên hệ giữa Người và Thiên Chúa như trên.
