Ngồi ăn trưa, mấy chàng đàm luận chuyện thời sự, căng thẳng Cambodia với Thailand, chuyến công du 4 ngày của Tổng thống Trump đến Scotland, rồi cả cuộc họp với bà Ursula von der Leyen bên phía EU.

Bữa trưa US–UK, cơm Việt. Tổng thống thì đang công du UK, còn anh nhà tôi thì… tư du US. 

Chàng vừa gắp đồ ăn cho vợ, vừa ghẹo, “Em ăn thêm đi cho có sức đi comment dạo.”

Tôi cười, gắp miếng nấm vào miệng rồi nghĩ thầm - người ta bảo phía sau một người phụ nữ hạnh phúc là một ông chồng giàu, còn phía sau tôi… là một hoàng thượng đang ngồi nối giáo - nạp đạn cho vợ giữa bữa trưa, trong làn gió hiu hiu của mùa hè và máy lạnh. 😂😆

Nam nhi tỉ tê với ấm trà và bàn cờ tướng, tiểu công chúa no bụng lăn phè ra sàn nhà family room ngủ trưa.  Hỏi sao con kg lên phòng nằm, nàng bảo "mummy makes the floor smell so good, con thích sleeping on the floor giống georgie ở nhà."  Georgie là chú chó nhỏ nàng adopt được mấy tháng.

Tôi với cái laptop gõ gõ, thỉnh thoảng nhìn lên bắt gặp ánh mắt chàng nhìn tôi cười, rõ chàng biết tẩy cô vợ đang thả "like" dạo.

As always, the moment I open the news, the circus begins. 

President Trump touched down in Scotland, greeted by thousands, real people waving American flags, cheering, holding signs. Not one media outlet gave that moment the dignity it deserved. Instead, they zoomed in on a handful of protesters and wrote the headline they wanted all along - “Scotland Rejects Trump.” Not a word about the crowd lining the roads, or the Scottish voices echoing America’s frustrations about immigration and broken borders. Truth didn’t disappear. It was deliberately ignored and got buried alive.

BBC went even lower, Cambodian rockets hit a 7-Eleven and gas station in Thailand. Eight people killed, including two children. Bangkok Post published the photos, "black smoke, rubble, innocent lives gone." The Thai government confirmed it. But BBC took that same photo and stuck it on a story blaming Thailand for bombing Cambodia. No correction, no retraction nor accountability. Just lies in a British accent, sold as journalism.

Same spin in California. ICE raided illegal marijuana farms and rescued 14 children forced to work in cartel-run slave camps. One man died during the operation when he fell off a roof while trying to escape. But media headlines twisted the story into “ICE Raids Immigrant Farms” and made it sound like ICE caused his death, as if they barged into a family-run strawberry patch and left someone dead. Not one outlet said “ICE Rescues Trafficked Children.” Not one clarified that the man fell while fleeing a criminal site. Because that truth doesn’t fit the narrative. Demonizing ICE does.. 

Then there’s Epstein. Four years of silence from the left. DOJ under Joe Biden had the files. No names, no indictments, and no justice. Just sealed records and media amnesia. But now that public rage is boiling over, suddenly they’re pretending to care.

Eric Swalwell, yes, Mr. Fang Fang himself, the guy who slept with a Chinese spy, is suddenly tweeting about transparency and “the people’s right to know” who’s on Epstein’s list. Really? Where was that energy the past 4 years? Or was he too busy playing bang bang?

And Zoe Lofgren. I used to work with her on human rights campaigns for Vietnamese political prisoners. Back then, I believed she stood for something. But time exposes everything. She doesn’t serve the people, she serves the party. She vanished when it mattered most. Now she’s suddenly “raising concerns” about Epstein? Spare me. She kept her mouth shut for 4 years while the files gathered dust, not a whisper. Now that the public’s torch is lit, she’s scrambling for cover. That’s not justice. That’s a survival instinct wrapped in fake outrage.

When silence becomes dangerous, cowards don’t take a stand. They ride the wave and hope no one remembers their absence.

Meanwhile, Tulsi Gabbard shows up with receipts. She exposed Obama’s direct role in launching the Russia hoax. Documents, dates, testimony. Cold, hard facts. And what did the media do? They didn’t debunk it. They didn’t ask questions. They attacked her. Because truth is dangerous when it doesn’t serve the script. Tulsi touched their sacred cow and they came after her like a pack of starving hyenas.

Waiting for the media to report the truth is like waiting for pigs to fly. At this point, it’s beyond pathetic and not even laughable. Disgusting and repulsive.

The democraps stayed silent on Epstein for 4 damn years. Now they want applause for showing up late and fake-angry? Even Pinocchio would cringe.

Let’s talk results. Here’s what President Trump secured this weekend with European Union, EU bent the knee:

0% tariffs on U.S. goods going into Europe
The EU will buy $750 BILLION in U.S. energy
$600 BILLION in U.S. investments committed
Hundreds of BILLIONS in U.S. military gear exports
And a 15% flat tariff on EU goods entering the U.S.

On a side note, while Trump laid out the deals, EU madam queen Ursula von der Leyen, fresh off a Beijing visit where she was welcomed with a bus and zero red carpet, looked like someone politely applauding her own extortion. No offense, just facts. 

And don’t forget Senator Josh Hawley, one of the few still fighting for working Americans, is now pushing a bill to send out rebate checks, just like President Trump proposed. The idea is simple - take a piece of the tariff windfall and give it back to the people who make this country run.
