Doh!!!!.... when people talking about epson salt for the plant .... that mean epson salt either in the form ...... eating salt or bathing salt ..... which is save for human or plant ..... Epsom salt is made up of hydrated magnesium sulfate (magnesium and sulfur), which is important to healthy plant growth.
In another word salt help the plant to absorb mineral, water, etc.... more quickly and efficency.
But as alway some plant like more salt than other ..... The quicker way for plant to take in is mist salt solution directly on leaves and branches ...... But be very careful too much salt solution will leave salt on leaves and branches which can cause more harm than good.
Yes, I'm very.... very.... very stupid enough to spay salt solution on plant in the morning before sun rise..... I let it soak in for 15-30 minutes or so..... the spay down the plant with regular water to wash of the salt solution. Make sure the sun don't dry out the salt solution on leaves and branches.
Until then ..... Good Luck...
Ps... As alway .... a little salt go the long way ..... .... Too much salt can be deadly to human or plant....
Then your surgestion was spraying them in the morning so the water vaporizered out, ready for the sun burning the sustains left in the leaf instead of spray them at nigh when temp is going down so the leaf can absorb them ?
Spay as much epsom salt as you wish it will make better to waste than damage none.
Adjusting your smart but not epsom salt limitation.
