You can ask someone not to say or to do something, if those words or action were directed at you and you were affected and or hurt by it

You can ask someone not to say or to do something out of kindness if they are your friends/family

But ask and ask repeatedly when someone is not asking for it or is not wanting it, then your action becomes bully and you become an attacker. That is, "what is wrong with that".
