Hồi đó xứ Cà đã được điều XI của the Articles of Confederation mời gia nhập nước Huê Kỳ mới thành lập nhưng mấy ông nội nói tiếng Pháp và mấy ông Công Giáo sùng đạo từ chối vì sợ càng bị lún sâu vào thành phần thiểu số.
Nếu không thì giờ tui có thể ung dung tự tại dọn về làm hàng xóm của mấy người nấu ăn ngon để ăn ké và khỏi sợ cái lạnh của xứ Cà rồi.
Đúng là mấy ông thần bảo thủ không biết nhìn xa trông rộng.
