[Image: C1D0D100-87A0-4D1A-AC5C-E8ABD90449D2_w1023_r1_s.jpg]

Cuộc tập trận chung do Anh điều phối.

Russia TV Channel Says 'No to War' as Staff Walk Out of Studio Live On-Air

Russian staff at independent television channel TV Rain (Dozhd) ended their final broadcast by walking out of the studio in a silent protest live on-air after being ordered to close by authorities due to the broadcaster's coverage of Moscow's invasion of Ukraine.

The leading independent broadcaster was blocked by Russia's telecommunications regulator earlier this week following pressure over its coverage of the Ukraine crisis.

Russian authorities have prohibited media from calling President Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine a "war"—state-run media outlets adopt the term "special military operation."

The Russian parliament passed a law on Friday that criminalizes the distribution of "fake news" about the Russian military, with those convicted facing up to 15 years in prison.

Staff at the TV station delivered their final show on YouTube on Thursday, before walking out of their studio live on-air.

Russian elites' kids protest Ukraine war: A look at who is taking stand against Putin

The daughters of some of Russia’s most elite figures with ties to the Kremlin are denouncing the war

With the war in Ukraine continuing to push many of its citizens out of the country amid Vladimir Putin’s invasion, protests continue in Russia.

Thousands have taken to the streets to denounce the war, including the daughters of some of Russia’s most elite figures with ties to the Kremlin.

One of Russia’s most outspoken opponents of the invasion on social media has been Sofia Abramovich, who publicly called out Putin in her Instagram Story with a post that said, "Putin wants a war with Ukraine. The biggest and most successful lie out of the Kremlin propaganda is that most Russians are with Putin."

The equestrian is the daughter of Roman Abramovich, 55, the owner of the Chelsea Premier League Football Club who has a reported net worth of $12 billion. The club owner has said he will sell the team after mounting pressure brought on by the invasion and his ties to the Kremlin.

Abramovich also announced that he has instructed the popular football club to set up a foundation that will use all net proceeds from the sale of Chelsea to "benefit all victims of the war in Ukraine." Abramovich has yet to be sanctioned over his relationship with Russia.

With nearly 240,000 followers on Instagram, 24-year-old Elizaveta Peskova, the outspoken daughter of Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, posted "No to the war" on her now-private social media profile.

The post was later deleted.

Also detesting the invasion is Maria Yumasheva, the 19-year-old daughter of Russian real estate developer Valentin Yumashev and his wife Tatyana Borisovna. Borisovna is the daughter of former Russian President Boris Yeltsin.

On Feb.24, Yumasheva made her feelings known when she shared a picture of a Ukrainian flag to Instagram, captioning the post with a simple broken heart emoji.

While comments on the post are disabled, the image has garnered more than 4,000 likes from her 12,000-plus followers.

Russia launched a full-scale attack on Ukraine Feb. 24, with Vladimir Putin labeling it a "special military operation."

Israel has made a dramatic decision to recognize immigrants coming from Ukraine as refugees fleeing the area of fighting and emergency.

The decision means that Ukrainian immigrants will receive a significant four-figure or five-figure grant from the Israeli government.

Israel’s Aliyah and Integration Ministry, which will be dealing with a large influx of immigrants this coming week, has made a dramatic decision to recognize immigrants coming from Ukraine as refugees fleeing the area of fighting and emergency.

This means that the immigrants who come from Ukraine will receive a significant one-time grant due to being someone who comes from battle zones.
The ministry decided, according to the decision of the Aliyah and Integration Minister Pnina Tamano-Shata, to grant new Israeli citizens who are Ukrainian refugees a one-time grant, in addition to the absorption of financial packages and temporary housing in a hotel or motel.

According to the ministry's decision, every single immigrant who comes from Ukraine will receive a one-time grant of about NIS 6,000, a couple will receive NIS 11,000 and a family will receive NIS 15,000.
The ministry explains that “the decision to offer a grant to the refugees is due to the fact that the immigrants coming from Ukraine are not prepared for their aliyah - for all that it entails and were forced to leave their home in a hurry and without their belongings.

The Aliyah and Integration Ministry has been preparing in recent weeks for the absorption of thousands of immigrants from Ukraine.”

From the assessment made by the ministry, it is clear that the immigrants who will arrive, from the beginning of next week, will arrive with very little equipment and clothing due to the circumstances.

The ministry also continues to publish a "call for proposals" to find more hotels, extension homes, and hostels that will accommodate the immigrants at least for the first few days.

As early as last week, the ministry published a call for proposals for rooms for the absorption of immigrants and to date, several companies have submitted bids for the same call.

The ministry has allocated about 12,000 rooms in hotels in cooperation with the Israel Hotels Association, guest houses and housing clusters throughout the country, including between 2,000-3,000 in the north of the country, about 6,000 in the center of the country, 200 optional rooms in hostels and 90 apartments in housing clusters.
Every day, situational assessments are conducted under the leadership of the Tamano-Shata and with the participation of government ministries and immigration organizations.

Last week, the Aliyah and Integration Ministry convened an emergency hearing during which Tamano-Shata instructed the relevant ministry staff to remove bureaucratic barriers to issuing immigration visas digitally.
"This is a very difficult time for the citizens of Ukraine, but it is also the time for the 'Israeli Guarantee' (the name of Israel's absorption operation)," said Shata of the decision.

"I have the privilege to receive our brothers and sisters from Ukraine who fled the battles. I declared an emergency situation in the Ministry and our staff have been working night and day to provide a wide range of services for the immigrants from the moment they land in Israel. The hotels we rented have rooms as pre-assessments, and we see it as an equivalent to a warm hug by our Ministry's staff."

LONDON, March 5 (Reuters) - President Vladimir Putin said on Saturday that Western sanctions on Russia were akin to a declaration of war and warned that any attempt to impose a no-fly zone in Ukraine would lead to catastrophic consequences for the world.

Putin reiterated that his aims were to defend Russian- speaking communities through the "demilitarisation and de-Nazification" of the country so that Russia's former Soviet neighbour became neutral and no longer threatened Russia.

Ukraine and Western countries have dismissed this as a baseless pretext for the invasion he launched on Feb. 24 and have imposed a sweeping range of sanctions aimed at isolating Moscow.

The NATO military alliance has rejected Kyiv's request for a no-fly zone, on the grounds it would escalate the war beyond Ukraine into a far wider conflict, potentially pitting the United States against Russia.

'GOING TO PLAN'

Asked about reports that Russian conscripts had been used in Ukraine, Putin said none had been involved and said the military operation was going to plan.

"There is not one conscript and we don't plan for there to be," Putin said. "Our army will fulfil all the tasks. I don't doubt that at all. Everything is going to plan."

That description was at odds with assessments from U.S. and British officials. British military intelligence said on Thursday that Russia's advance on the Ukrainian capital had made little progress and encountered staunch resistance.

Putin dismissed concerns that some sort of martial law or emergency situation could be declared in Russia. He said such a measure was imposed only when there was significant internal or external threat.

"We don't plan to introduce any kind of special regime on Russian territory - there is currently no need," Putin said.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the West was behaving like a bandit by cutting economic relations over the conflict in Ukraine but that Russia was far too big to be isolated as the world was much larger than just the United States and Europe.

Visa, Mastercard Grant Zelensky's Request, Ban All Operations in Russia, 'effective immediately'

Visa and Mastercard suspended their operations in Russia on Saturday as companies continue withdrawing from the nation over its invasion of Ukraine.

Al Kelly, Visa's CEO, condemned the war as an "ongoing threat to peace and stability" that demands they "respond in line with our values" in a statement.

"We are compelled to act following Russia's unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, and the unacceptable events that we have witnessed," he wrote. "We regret the impact this will have on our valued colleagues, and on the clients, partners, merchants and cardholders we serve in Russia."

Visa will work with its clients and partners in Russia to immediately cease all transaction over the coming days, and Visa cards issued outside of Russia will no longer work inside the country, according to the statement.

Meanwhile, Mastercard wrote in a statement that they would also cease operations in Russia over the invasion.

The move comes hours after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky pleaded for Visa and Mastercard to end services in Russia during a call with U.S. lawmakers, according to a report from the Associated Press
